Dr. Sona Galstian, a dedicated general dentist, graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2017, where she developed a deep passion for providing comprehensive care to her patients. After completing her dental degree, Dr. Galstian pursued a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program, where she honed her skills in a variety of advanced procedures, particularly in endodontics, partial coverage crowns, and periodontal surgery. During this time, she gained extensive experience in extractions with socket preservation, implant placement, and implant restoration, further enhancing her ability to offer specialized care in her practice.
A strong advocate for continuing education, Dr. Galstian is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry. She has completed extensive training in Invisalign, allowing her to help patients achieve their ideal smiles through clear aligner therapy. Additionally, she actively participates in various continuing education courses focused on cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive treatment planning, ensuring she remains knowledgeable about the latest advancements in the field. With her skill set and passion for transformative dental care, Dr. Galstian is dedicated to delivering personalized treatments that provide patients with the smiles of their dreams. Dr. Tayyem is a dedicated and highly skilled dentist who brings a rich international background and a deep passion for patient-centered care. A proud graduate of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (Class of 2020), she is now based in Southern California, where she is committed to delivering high-quality, empathetic dental care to patients from all walks of life.
During her time at UPenn, Dr. Tayyem graduated with honors from the Survivors of Torture program—a specialized clinic devoted to treating immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers who have endured emotional, psychological, and physical trauma. This transformative experience shaped her gentle, thoughtful approach and reinforced her belief that dentistry is as much about compassion as it is about clinical excellence.
Dr. Tayyem also served as a faculty educator at UCLA, where she enjoyed mentoring and guiding the next generation of dental professionals. Outside of dentistry, she leads an inspiring and multifaceted life. She is a 70.3 Ironman triathlete, an avid traveler and camper, a guest chef, and a refugee program coordinator—continuing her lifelong commitment to uplifting communities in need.
